Svitlana Balynska, known artistically as Balina, is a contemporary painter whose practice centers around abstract landscapes and expressive textures. Deeply inspired by the creativity of her grandmother, she combines oils and acrylics to build layered compositions where light, shadow, and subtle gradients evoke introspection and emotional depth.
Her signature technique blends fine brushwork with unconventional tools, allowing her to create tactile surfaces and intricate patterns that invite the viewer into a quiet, meditative space. Her work encourages personal reflection and connection to the inner self — beyond language, beyond boundaries.
Balina’s paintings have been exhibited internationally in the Netherlands, Germany, and Turkey, where she regularly participates in curated art events and group exhibitions.
“For me, art is a way to connect with people — to speak through texture, light, and silence.”
